What usually would find its way into a dumpster is transformed into a one of a kind piece of Art.
I can see why no one does this…..
The process of taking a fish rack: cleaning all flesh, extracting oil from bones, whitening, reassembling takes almost a year and many man hours.
Step 1
Filet fish being careful not to cut any bones
Step 2
Heat fish rack and pick each bone clean of flesh and connective tissue
Step 3
Degrease bones until water runs clear (takes 8-12 months)
Step 4
Figure out where everything should be placed
Step 5
Whiten and make uniform color
Step 6 : Put the puzzle back together
Step 7
Make form and fill with epoxy resin
