Ospreys Arrival

Ospreys are often seen swooping over the bay and ocean in pursuit of prey which include: alewives, herring,menhaden, and juvenile striped bass. The main reason they are here is though is to breed and produce offspring who will return after they have reached three years old. The average lifespan of an Osprey in the wild is 7 - 10 years.
